Newton Abbot Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce our chosen charity of the yeat for 2026 Animals In Distress.

Animals in Distress was born out of the local community’s desire to help pets who had lost their homes.

When the lives of South Devon’s pets fall apart, Animals in Distress is here to pick up the pieces. They are a local charity that takes in, cares for and rehomes hundreds of homeless, lost and abandoned cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs every year.

We’re delighted to be supporting such an incredible charity this year, and we look forward to working with our members and the wider community to raise awareness and vital funds for their amazing work.
